Something must be done about these people, running around in RA and AB with a cheap hack build based on an unbalanced primary attribute.

These are the features of the Touch Ranger:

Warriors do not build adrenaline from Touch Rangers attacking them, because Touch Rangers never hit with an attack.

Spell immunity does not work against Touch Rangers, because Touch Rangers do not cast spells.

Damage reduction does not work against Touch Rangers, because Touch Rangers do not deal damage.

Blindness does not work against Touch Rangers, because Touch Rangers do not need to see a target to hit it.

Dazed does not work against Touch Rangers, because Touch Rangers, again, do not cast spells.

Spoil Victor does not work against Touch Rangers, because Touch Rangers neither cast spells on or attack targets.

Empathy does not work against Touch Rangers, because Touch Rangers do not attack targets.

Backfire does not work against Touch Rangers, because Touch Rangers do not cast spells.

Armor and armor buffs do not work against Touch Rangers, because Touch Rangers ignore armor.

Vow of Silence does not work against Touch Rangers, because Touch Rangers do not cast spells.

Shadow Form does not work against Touch Rangers, because Touch Rangers do not cast spells and do not need to hit a target.

Shroud of Silence does not work against Touch Rangers, because Touch Rangers do not cast spells.

I could go on...

Before anyone mentions it, I know there are ways to kill touch rangers. They usually involve pinning them down and degen'ing them to death. Sure. Question is, even if there are counters, and we know there are counters to _every_ build, _why are there so few counters to this lame build_? Would gameplay _improve_ in PvP if everyone brought counters to these unimaginative people? Can anyone, honest to God, tell me that this is an example of a balanced playing environment?

Life Stealing needs a nerf. Expertise needs a nerf. Life Stealing should be Shadow Damage. Expertise should not work on anything but Ranger skills.

Warriors gain adrenaline from attacking and taking damage. Not just one.
Diversion works against touch rangers. Touch rangers use skills.
Degen hexes work against touch rangers.
I'm sure paragons have a few counters too.
Spiking a touch ranger so they take more damage than they can heal.

I could go on...

Life Stealing be shadow damage? No...then it would not be life stealing.

How do you kill a touch ranger? Take some unblockable/stance ending moves (for physical classes) and break their stances. Then kick their ass.

For casters, stay the hell away from them and hit 'em from a distance.

If these guys really bug you that much, go paragon secondary and bring "Can't Touch This"

Why nerf life stealing all they have to do is make touch skills (not associated with rangers [such as vampiric bite] take the full 15 energy) no need to nerf 2 entire classes for an easy fix.

If you hate them that much run an even gayer boa assassin with expose defenses all it takes is good timing chain your attacks and usually people gang up on a touch ranger 2 people can deal more dps then a touch ranger can handle by itself.

My suggestion to you is run a melee with a way to go through stances be it [skill]Way of the Fox[/skill] or [skill]Warrior's Cunning[/skill] or even [skill]Expose Defenses[/skill] or even [skill]Fox's Promise[/skill] or just completely annihilate the stance with [skill]Wild Blow[/skill]. Or just make yourself and the toucher completely useless with [skill]Blackout[/skill].

I can go on and on with ways to kill a touchy I can kill a touch ranger with a smite monk if I had to.
Only reason touch rangers exist is for quick balthazar faction.

Seriously come up with a better argument please any good player would run around and wait for a teammate to come help. Use your common sense before you post something so easy to beat and giving me 40 balth faction in 6 seconds.

Last time I saw a touch ranger, I was laughing in their face. They lasted a good 30 seconds against me.
